Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Golden syrup
  • 400 gram Digestive biscuits
  • 100 gram Almonds
  • 200 gram White chocolate
  • 1 pinch Edible gold flakes
Instructions
  1. Melt the butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Stir the biscuit crumbs into the melted butter and syrup mixture.
  4. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and smooth the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the almonds evenly over the biscuit base.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the almonds, spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the edible gold flakes on top.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
