Ingredients
  • 400 gram Tofu
  • 200 gram Shiitake mushrooms
  • 4 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 4 stalk Green onions
  • 2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Drain and press tofu to remove excess water.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Cut tofu into rectangles and marinate in the sauce for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, remove stems from shiitake mushrooms and finely chop them. Sauté the stems with minced garlic and green onions in vegetable oil.
  5. Add cornstarch and mix well to create the stuffing.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Take marinated tofu and cut a slit in the middle of each rectangle.
  8. Stuff each tofu rectangle with the shiitake stuffing.
  9. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and pan-fry the stuffed tofu until golden brown on both sides.
  10. Transfer the tofu to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
