  • 2 tablespoon Malted barley powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegan butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Non-dairy milk
  • 0.75 cup Vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, malted barley powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and non-dairy milk.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
