Ingredients
  • 1 cup Bamboo shoots
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Black fungus
  • 1 cup Wood ear mushrooms
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Soak the black fungus and wood ear mushrooms in water until soft. Drain and slice them.
  2. Peel and julienne the carrots.
  3. In a steamer, steam the bamboo shoots, carrots, black fungus, wood ear mushrooms, and bean sprouts for 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, white pepper powder, cornstarch, and water.
  5. Pour the sauce over the steamed vegetables and mix well.
  6. Steam for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot as an appetizer or starter.
