Ingredients
  • 2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Green Beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Add green beans, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Add tomato paste and mix it with the other ingredients.
  5. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pot. Gently mix the rice with the other ingredients.
  6. Add water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving. Serve hot.
