Ingredients
  • 200 gram Okara
  • 100 gram All-purpose flour
  • 30 gram Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 50 gram Dark chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the okara, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the applesauce, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
