  • 1 cup Lentils
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 piece Buns
Instructions
  1. Cook lentils according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté until vegetables are softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add cooked lentils to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Toast the buns and serve the lentil mixture on the buns.
