Ingredients
  • 1 cup Red lentils
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the lentils. Cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  3. Drain the cooked lentils and let them cool.
  4. In a blender or food processor, combine the cooked lentils, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  5. If the dip is too thick, add a little water to achieve the desired consistency.
  6. Transfer the lentil dip to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve with sliced vegetables, pita bread, or crackers.
