Ingredients
  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add quinoa. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until quinoa is tender and water is absorbed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Once the quinoa is cooked, fluff it with a fork and transfer it to a serving bowl.
  5. Pour the lemon dressing over the quinoa and toss to combine.
  6. Add fresh basil leaves and gently mix.
  7. Let the flavors meld for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
