Ingredients
  • 4 piece Kiwifruit
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the bowl. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Beat the egg and add it to the bowl. Mix until the dough comes together.
  5. Press the dough into a greased baking dish.
  6. Peel and slice the kiwifruit, then arrange the slices on top of the dough.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the baked squares.
  10. Allow the squares to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
