Ingredients
  • 500 tomato Ripe tomatoes
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  2. Score a small 'X' on the bottom of each tomato.
  3. Blanch the tomatoes in the boiling water for 30 seconds, then transfer them to an ice bath to cool.
  4. Peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds.
  5. Chop the tomatoes into small pieces.
  6. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  7. Add the garlic cloves and cook until fragrant.
  8. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, and black pepper.
  9. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  10. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Stir in the fresh basil leaves.
  12. Serve the Killer Pomodori with garlic bread. Enjoy!
