  • 500 gram Kabocha Squash
  • 1.5 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the kabocha squash into small cubes and steam until soft. Mash the cooked squash and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the mashed kabocha squash, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Grease a baking dish and pour the batter into it. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Cut into slices and enjoy!
