Ingredients
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 canned Tomatoes
  • 1 fresh Chili Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chili pepper, paprika, and cumin. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the canned tomatoes and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Use a blender or immersion blender to puree the sauce until smooth.
  7. Serve hot or let it cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
