Ingredients
  • 400 gram Kidney Beans
  • 2 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 8 leaves Fresh Basil
Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain the kidney beans.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add kidney beans to the pot and stir well.
  6. Cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the Italian-Style Kidney Beans topped with fresh basil leaves.
