Ingredients
  • 250 gram Spinach
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 piece Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Wash the spinach leaves and chop them.
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  4. Once the cumin seeds splutter, add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger.
  5. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  7. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  8. Add the chopped spinach and cook until it wilts.
  9. Add the cubed potatoes and water. Mix well.
  10. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked.
  11. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  12. Serve hot with rice or roti.
