Ingredients
  • 500 gram Okra
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
  1. Wash the okra and pat dry. Trim the ends and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add finely chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Saute until golden brown.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  4. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the chopped okra and cook for about 10 minutes until they are tender.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with rice or roti.
