Ingredients
  • 1 cup Peanuts
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 4 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Add the peanuts and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon juice before serving.
  7. Serve hot with rice or bread.
