Ingredients
  • 2 can Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Saute until onion is translucent.
  3. Add canned tomatoes, vegetable broth, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in basil leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  7. Serve hot and garnish with additional basil leaves if desired.
