Potato chips were first created in the 19th century by George Crum, a Native American chef, who was trying to satisfy a customer’s demand for thinner fried potatoes. The customer loved the crispy chips, and thus, potato chips were born!

  4. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until well coated.
  5. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chips are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
