  • 500 gram Kabocha Squash
  • 200 gram All-purpose Flour
  • 100 gram Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 drop Green Food Coloring
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the kabocha squash in half, remove the seeds, and cut into small pieces. Steam the squash until soft, then mash it with a fork.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed kabocha squash, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Grease a pumpkin-shaped mold with vegetable oil and pour the batter into the mold. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the mold for 15 minutes. Then, carefully remove the pumpkin-shaped cake from the mold and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with green food coloring to create a green glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the pumpkin-shaped cake to create a decorative effect.
