Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Carrots
  • 4 ounce Almonds
  • 4 ounce Cream Cheese
  • 4 drop Red Food Coloring
  • 4 drop Black Food Coloring
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into finger-sized pieces.
  3. Use a knife to carve out small lines at the top of each carrot piece to resemble knuckles.
  4. Place the carved carrots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake the carrots for 10-12 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese with red food coloring until desired blood-like color is achieved.
  7. Once the carrots are done, let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Spread a thin layer of the red cream cheese mixture on the flat end of each carrot piece.
  9. Press an almond slice onto the cream cheese to resemble a fingernail.
  10. Use a toothpick dipped in black food coloring to create lines on the carrot to resemble knuckles.
  11. Serve the Halloween Carrot Fingers as a spooky appetizer.
