Ingredients
  • 500 gram Green beans
  • 1 cup Basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Pine nuts
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic cloves, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cooked green beans with the balsamic pesto until well coated.
  4. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve the green beans with balsamic pesto as a main course or side dish.
