Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Gluten-free flour
  • 0.5 cup Almond flour
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegan butter
  • 2 tablespoon Ice water
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, almond flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the vegan butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.
  4. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to fit your tart pan.
  7. Press the dough into the pan, trimming any excess.
  8. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking.
  9. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the crust to cool completely before filling.
