  • 2 cup Gluten-Free Flour Mix
  • 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 unit Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Salt
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour mix, instant yeast, salt, sugar, and baking soda.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into pretzel bun shapes.
  7. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle coarse salt on top.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the buns cool on a wire rack.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
