Ingredients
  • 4 large Onions
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 sprigs Fresh thyme
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and trim the onions, leaving the root intact.
  3. Cut a small slice off the top of each onion to create a flat surface.
  4. Place the onions in a baking dish.
  5. Drizzle olive oil, maple syrup, and balsamic vinegar over the onions.
  6. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are tender and glazed.
  9. Let the onions rest for 5 minutes before serving.
