Ingredients
  • 4 large Pears
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel, core, and slice the pears. Place them in a bowl and toss with lemon juice and ground ginger.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Spread the pear mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the pears are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
