  • 2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Coriander Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
  • 4 teaspoon Cardamom Pods
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 leaf Bay Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 1 piece Star Anise
  • 4 piece Dried Red Chilies
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
Instructions
  1. Dry roast all the whole spices until fragrant. Allow them to cool and then grind them into a fine powder. Heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, and dried red chilies. Add the ground spice powder and cook for a minute. Use the garam masala in your desired recipe.
