Ingredients
  • 1 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium Potato, grated
  • 1/2 cup Spinach, chopped
  • 2 piece Green chili, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • as needed for frying Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, and spices to make a smooth batter.
  2. Add chopped onion, grated potato, spinach, green chili, coriander leaves, ginger, and cumin seeds to the batter. Mix well.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or kadhai.
  4. Take spoonfuls of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  5. Fry the fritters until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fritters from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
