Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 50 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any excess moisture.
  2. Finely chop the onion.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Take a small portion of the potato mixture and shape it into a patty. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  6. Carefully place the patties in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  8. Let the patties rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the fried potato and onion patties hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a side dish.
