Ingredients
  • 4 tomato Ripe tomatoes
  • 8 leaf Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 loaf Baguette or ciabatta bread
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tomatoes and place in a bowl.
  3. Tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces and add to the tomatoes.
  4. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the bowl.
  5. Season with black pepper and salt.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and gently toss to combine.
  7. Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices.
  8. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes, or until slightly crispy.
  9. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  10. Spoon the tomato mixture onto each bread slice.
  11. Serve immediately.
