Ingredients
  • 1 cup White sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red food coloring
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, water, corn syrup, food coloring, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the baking soda.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out using a spatula.
  6. Let it cool and harden for about 30 minutes.
  7. Break the hardened candy into small pieces.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
