Ingredients
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium Cucumber
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 4 small Radishes
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 1 bunch Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 piece Pita bread
  • 3 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the pita bread into small pieces and spread them on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
  2. Wash and chop the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, radishes, bell pepper, onion, mint leaves, and parsley leaves.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped vegetables and herbs.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
  6. Let the salad rest for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle the crispy pita bread over the salad.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
