Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Almond milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the applesauce, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and fill each liner about 3/4 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
