Ingredients
  • 1 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 cup Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 8 sheet Samosa Wrappers
  • as needed for frying Vegetable Oil
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, onion, garlic, cilantro, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add all-purpose flour until the mixture holds together.
  3. Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the falafel mixture in the center.
  4. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, sealing the edges with water.
  5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and mixture.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry the falafel samoosas until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oil and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
