Ingredients
  • 200 gram Dried Chickpeas
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic Cloves
  • 1 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
  1. Soak the dried chickpeas in water overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  3. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Pulse until the mixture is well combined and forms a coarse paste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. Shape the mixture into small patties or balls.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry the falafel until golden brown on all sides.
  9. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  10. Serve hot with tahini sauce, pita bread, and salad.
