Ingredients
  • 400 gram Chickpeas
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Process until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the flour until the mixture holds together.
  5. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Fry the falafel patties until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve hot with tahini sauce or in pita bread with your favorite toppings.
