Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Chestnuts
  • 2 cup Rice
  • 2 cup Vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 stalk Green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Boil the chestnuts for 10 minutes and remove the shells.
  2. Rinse the rice and drain well.
  3. In a pot, add the rice, vegetable broth, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  6. In a separate pan, heat sesame oil and sauté the chestnuts for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked chestnuts to the rice and mix well.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
