Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent.

Add broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add quinoa and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until quinoa is cooked and broccoli is tender.

Use an immersion blender or transfer soup to a blender to puree until smooth.

Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well.
