Ingredients
  • 1 cup Long-grain Rice
  • 2 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper (chopped)
  • 2 stalk Celery (chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Green Onions (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, cook the rice in vegetable broth according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the dried thyme, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet with the vegetables. Mix well to combine.
  6. Cook the dirty rice for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley before serving.
