Ingredients
  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 4 buns Hamburger buns
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 sliced Tomato
  • 1 sliced Red onion
  • 4 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoon Ketchup
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, red onion, garlic cloves, fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Shape the mixture into patties and refrigerate for 5 minutes to firm up.
  6. Heat a grill or pan over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns and assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise, and ketchup.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
