Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Tomato
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 10 gram Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
Instructions
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add more oil if needed and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for a minute.
  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  6. Add all the spices (curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt) and cook for a minute.
  7. Add the fried potatoes back to the pan and mix well with the spices.
  8. Add a little water and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
