Ingredients
  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 1 cup Black rice
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
Instructions
  1. Rinse the quinoa and black rice under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, add water, quinoa, black rice, cumin seeds, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the grains are tender and the water is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the quinoa and black rice with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Toss to combine.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
