Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture.

Cut the tofu into sticks.

In a shallow bowl, combine cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.

Dip each tofu stick into the cornstarch mixture, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the tofu sticks until golden brown on all sides.

Transfer the tofu sticks to a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
