  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
  3. Cut the tofu into sticks.
  4. In a shallow bowl, combine cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  5. Dip each tofu stick into the cornstarch mixture, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the tofu sticks until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Transfer the tofu sticks to a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
