Ingredients
  • 2 onion Large onions
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Slice the onions into thick rings and separate them.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  4. Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then coat it with the flour mixture.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan.
  6. Fry the onion rings in batches until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the onion rings from the oil and drain them on a paper towel.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
