Ingredients
  • 4 slice Baguette
  • 1 cup Green olives
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  2. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  3. In a blender or food processor, combine the green olives, basil leaves, garlic cloves, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  4. Once the crostini slices are done, let them cool slightly. Spread a generous amount of the spicy green olivada on each slice.
