Crispy Whole Wheat-Maple Crackers
Crackers were first made in the Middle Ages as a way to preserve bread dough.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, maple syrup, olive oil, water, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/8 inch thick.

Cut the dough into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or a knife.

Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the crackers.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
