Tofu, also known as bean curd, is made from soy milk and is a popular ingredient in vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Press tofu to remove excess water. Cut tofu into finger-sized pieces.

In a shallow bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Coat tofu pieces in the cornstarch mixture.

Dip coated tofu in bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry tofu until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove tofu from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
