Ingredients
  • 2 can Kidney beans
  • 1 can Black beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Bell pepper
  • 1 pepper Jalapeno pepper
  • 1 can Canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper. Cook until softened.
  2. Add tomato paste, cumin powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar. Stir well.
  3. Add canned tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and vegetable broth. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with rice or cornbread.
