Ingredients
  • 1 cup Cola
  • 1 cup Dates
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cola and dates. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cola and date mixture. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
