Ingredients
  • 8 leaf Napa cabbage leaves
  • 8 ounce Firm tofu
  • 100 gram Carrots
  • 100 gram Mushrooms
  • 4 stalk Green onions
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Blanch the Napa cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, crumble the firm tofu and mix it with grated carrots, chopped mushrooms, sliced green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place a spoonful of the tofu mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll it up tightly.
  4. Arrange the cabbage rolls in a steamer or baking dish.
  5. Steam the rolls for 20 minutes or bake them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Let the rolls rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the Chinese-style Napa cabbage rolls with your favorite dipping sauce or soy sauce.
